Cassava is the third largest source of energy in the tropical regions. The first and the second largest source is rice and maize respectively. In Africa, Asia and Latin America, millions of people rely on cassava either as a source of energy (food) or source of income (through cultivation and post processing). The traditional method of cassava cultivation has so far hindered its development and increasing competition are surfacing from other crops.

Adhi Group has recognized the needs to actively develop its Corporate Social Responsibility programs, focusing in areas where cassava is the major source of food and income.

The CSR program ranges from provision of medical service to farmers, to a more diverse areas of socialization of basic sanitary and cassava processing for domestic uses to supplies of free seed.
